RBI Cuts Repo Rate By 25 Basis Point

• RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan cut interest rates for the third time since January.
• RBI cuts the rapo rate by 25 basis points or 0.25 percentage point.
• Earlier Rapo Rate was 7.5% now it is 7.75%.
• RBI Decides to keep the CRR unchanged.

Current Policy Rates are as follows:

• Policy Repo Rate: 7.25%
• Reverse Repo Rate: 6.25%
• Marginal Standing Facility Rate : 8.25%
• Bank Rate : 8.25%

Reserve Ratios

• CRR    : 4%
• SLR    : 21.5%
